Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the Sổ Chi iOS app and the Sổ Chi Plus subscription. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who provides the service
The service is provided by Thanh DAO, an individual developer (“we”, “us”), at Hanoi, Vietnam. Contact: customer-support@quietfleet.dev.
Sổ Chi is an iOS app for households. You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a contract under the applicable law to use the service.
Your licence to use the app downloaded from the App Store is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms apply alongside that agreement, including the conditions of the Sổ Chi Plus subscription.
2. The service
Sổ Chi helps you record expenses and income by sending short messages, categorises them and shows reports in a shared ledger. Some message content is processed by an artificial-intelligence model to extract the amount, date and category.
Sổ Chi is not a bank, e-wallet, credit institution or payment service. The app does not transfer money, hold money or process payments between users. Nothing in the app is financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.
We may change, suspend or discontinue a feature. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will try to notify you in the app or by email.
3. Accounts and shared households
You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple/Google account and sign-in session secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect someone else is using your account.
Sổ Chi works by household. The person who creates a household invites members with an invite code. Household members can see the household's messages, expenses, income, categories and reports. Invite only people you trust, and do not share invite codes publicly.
You may leave a household. When you leave, data you recorded stays in the shared ledger for the remaining members, unless you are the last member. Account deletion and its effects are described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Sổ Chi Plus
Sổ Chi Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the whole app for the household. There is no free plan and no free trial.

- Free trial
- None. Billing starts when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal
- Renews automatically for the same term until you cancel.
- Cancel
- Any time in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- Payment
- Through your Apple ID. Apple charges you when you confirm the purchase and within 24 hours before each new term starts.
- Restore
- The Restore button on the Plus screen restores a plan bought with the same Apple ID.
- Refunds
- Handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We do not receive the payment directly and do not issue refunds ourselves.
The price shown on the App Store when you confirm the purchase is the price that applies. Prices may differ by country or region and may change; a new price applies under the App Store's rules.
Deleting the app or deleting your Sổ Chi account does not cancel the plan. You must cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings.
When the plan expires or is cancelled, Plus access ends and the app returns to the subscription screen. Household data is kept under the Privacy Policy, and you can subscribe again later.
5. Content you send and AI
When you send a message, the app sends the message text (and the original message when you are answering a clarification question), the household's categories, the language and the current date to our server and then to OpenRouter for AI extraction. Do not enter information you do not want processed this way.
AI output may be wrong about the amount, date or category. You must check the result before relying on it, and you can edit or delete the expense in the app. Do not use Sổ Chi for medical, legal, tax or investment decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others;
- try to bypass the paywall, AI limits, security measures or access restrictions;
- reverse engineer, decrypt, probe or overload the system;
- send malware, spam, fraudulent or harmful content;
- collect other people's data without permission;
- let others use your account to avoid a plan or a limit.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if needed to protect users, the system or comply with the law.
7. Your content
You keep the rights you have in the content you enter. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content to you and the members of your household, and to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, only to operate Sổ Chi. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content and for having the right to enter it.
8. Third-party services
Sổ Chi relies on Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple, payments), Google (Sign in with Google), Supabase (storage and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), OpenRouter (AI processing), PostHog (analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting this legal site). Those parties' terms and privacy policies also apply to the parts they provide. We do not control their services.
9. Changes and availability
We may update these Terms. The new version is posted on this page with its update date and takes effect on that date. If a change is material, we will try to notify you in the app or by email where appropriate. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new version.
We may suspend the service for maintenance, upgrades or security reasons. We will try to restore it within a reasonable time.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will always be error-free, uninterrupted or completely secure, or that AI output will always be accurate.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for data loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the app subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer right that mandatory law grants you.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of Vietnam, unless mandatory law where you live gives you other rights.
